Children's Workshop 2017 Preview

On 26th July we are excited to be holding our first ever Children’s Workshop.

This event will be a fun, child friendly day, which will also teach children about AKU.  Held at London Zoo, the workshop will have lots of exciting activities throughout the day. There will be animal encounters, interactive sessions, free time in the zoo itself and the chance to meet other families. The event is a great opportunity for any child with a connection to AKU.

We also hope to set up a peer mentoring scheme.  Young adults with AKU have agreed to be mentors to offer support to the children and young families.

The day will run from 09.00 to 17.00 with lunch and refreshments provided throughout the day. Financial assistance is available to help with travel costs and overnight stays where needed.
