Our Sixth Patient Workshop

18-Mar-2017

The AKU Society is holding its 6th Patient Workshop! Patient workshops are a free, brilliant way for AKU patients and family members to come together and learn more about AKU.

Throughout the day there will be a range of fantastic activities and speakers. Including a talk from Dr Adam Taylor on the current state of AKU research.

You will also have the chance to meet other patients, as well as medical professionals and researchers involved with AKU.

This workshop will be held at Alexandra Palace on Saturday 18th March 2017.

Registration will begin at 10:00 am with events running through until 16:00 pm. The sessions will include:

  • Update on AKU research
  • Specialist dietitian sessions
  • Gait analysis presentation
  • Launch of low protein recipe book
  • Digital art session

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. With time set aside to socialise.

Invitations have now been sent out. If you would like to reserve your place now, please contact Lesley by emailing [email protected] alternatively you can call the office on 01223 322 897

We would like to thank the funders of this event, The Big Lottery Fund. Their support makes this patient workshop possible.
