The AKU Society of Asia-Pacific is the patient support group for AKU patients and their families in the Asia-Pacific region.
They are currently focused on bringing together all those associated with AKU in the region, with a longer-term goal of improving the quality of life of AKU patients and their families, through providing resources and channels of interaction.
In APAC, while general awareness of AKU is low, there is a small but growing community - more than 120 patients. If you are an AKU patient, family member, friend, or healthcare professional associated with AKU patients, please contact [email protected] to join the community!
They are also always looking for people to volunteer. If you are interested in helping out in any way, please contact [email protected].
